Wipers are installed in the sealing configurations of hydraulic cylinders to prevent contaminants such as dirt, dust and moisture from entering the cylinder as they retract back into the system.
The SRD is moulded in high-performance polyurethane, for excellent durability in service. Utilizing a double lip of polyurethane bonded to a steel case, this wiper prevents contaminant ingression at the wiping lip and around the outer case.
